Diane E. (Dazer) Hamilton

Diane Hamilton, age 74, passed away February 10, 2024.

Diane was the loving mother of Christine (James) Russell and Keri (Dan) Drescher; grandmother of Brooke, James, and Nichole Russell and Kaila (Alex) McClellan, Sarah Buell, and Emma Drescher; and dear sister of Peter (Caryl) Dazer and Kathy (Mike) Mason. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Diane was a music lover. She especially liked classic rock, but only the right kind of classic rock, like Eric Clapton. Diane also enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking, and playing cards with her friends. She also loved to shop on Amazon, amazed by everything she could possibly get from anywhere in the world. She had a very independent soul, always preferring to do things herself, her way. Diane loved being social, as well. She had a close circle of loyal friends at the Baldwin House Senior Living Center, where she was currently living. She also loved the church communities that she involved herself in, St. Mark and St. James Catholic Parishes.

Diane will be deeply missed by family and friends and her memory will live on in their hearts forever. A Memorial Mass will be held for Diane on Thursday, March 14, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 4401 Bart Avenue, MI 48091. Gathering will start at the church just prior to the Mass at 9:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
